What "canonised" mean is that a group of people monopolized the knowledge of God and its religion according to their whims and fancies (ie the Pagan son of god and Savior mythologies of old)
To achieve this they needed to be in the government. and the help of its army. Constantine was the ideal government as he believed in the samse mythological god.
With that Christianity became the official religion of the Romans ad their colonies throughout their Empure. After the Roman Empure died, Britain a colony of the Roman Empire continued with the propagation of this Roman Christian religion and the King Henry the 8th's version of the same religion without the Pope / Priests in power although the same canonised Gospels were used.
With canonization of the Gospels is the destruction of the non canonised Gospels and the massacre of its followers.
